Make Billionaires Pay Their Fair Share
We need to stop balancing the budget on the backs of working families while billionaires use loopholes to avoid paying their fair share. One of the worst offenders is the "unrealized asset" scheme that lets the ultra-wealthy dodge taxes on the rising value of their investments—often for years—while everyday Americans are taxed on every paycheck. I’m committed to closing this loophole and making sure billionaires finally contribute like the rest of us, so we can invest in public schools, affordable healthcare, and good-paying jobs without putting more pressure on middle-class families. I’ll also fight to expand the Child Tax Credit and ensure corporations pay a minimum tax rate—because no company making billions in profits should be paying less in taxes than a school teacher or firefighter. It’s time to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top.
Rebuilding Our Economy
Donald Trump and his allies, like Juan Ciscomani, have wrecked the economy in record time—driving up costs for working families while handing out more breaks to billionaires and big corporations. Now, they’re doubling down on failure with a reckless tariff scheme that’s nothing more than a tax on American consumers. These new tariffs will raise prices on everything from groceries to everyday household goods, all while doing nothing to bring jobs back or lower costs. I’m running for Congress to rebuild an economy that actually works for working people—by investing in manufacturing here at home, strengthening our supply chains, and rejecting the failed, inflation-driving policies of Trump and his enablers. We need real economic leadership, not political stunts that make life harder for Arizona families.

Creating Good Paying Jobs
I’m committed to creating good-paying jobs for Arizonans—especially in the industries that will define our future, like green energy, advanced manufacturing, and emerging technologies. Arizona has the talent, drive, and innovation to lead the way, and we need leaders in Congress who will fight to make that happen. That’s why I’m excited to work with champions like Senator Mark Kelly on groundbreaking legislation like the CHIPS and Science Act, which is already bringing thousands of high-quality jobs to our state by boosting domestic semiconductor production and strengthening our economy. Meanwhile, Donald Trump and Juan Ciscomani want to repeal this progress—putting politics ahead of Arizona families and the future of our economy. I won’t let that happen. I’ll fight to protect and expand these investments so Arizona can stay at the forefront of job creation and technological innovation.
Safeguarding Our Environment and Natural Resources
Arizona’s natural resources are some of our greatest assets, and we have a responsibility to protect them—for ourselves and for future generations. I strongly support responsible resource development, including mining, which is critical to our economy and the clean energy transition. But we can’t afford to sacrifice our water or our environment in the process. We must demand the use of innovative, modern extraction techniques that minimize environmental harm and prevent the contamination of our groundwater. At the same time, Arizona is in the midst of a serious water crisis, and we need more than just conservation—we need a sustainable, long-term plan that secures a clean, reliable water supply for families, farmers, and future growth. That means fighting for our fair share of Colorado River water, investing in smart water infrastructure, and making sure every community, from cities to rural towns, has access to this essential resource. Arizona’s future depends on bold, realistic solutions—not political talking points.
Supporting Our Veterans
Arizona is home to several key military installations—including Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and Fort Huachuca, both right here in AZ-06—and we’re proud to have one of the largest veteran populations in the country. These service members put everything on the line for us, and we made a deal with them: to take care of them when they come home. That’s not just an obligation—it should be our absolute honor and pleasure to live up to our end of the bargain. Whether it’s modernizing the VA to make it more efficient and responsive, expanding access to VA home loans, or hiring enough trained personnel to handle the growing caseload, I’m committed to improving the lives of veterans and their families. They deserve more than our gratitude—they deserve real action and lasting support.
Healthcare Is a Human Right
No one should go bankrupt because they got sick. Yet in the wealthiest nation on the planet, medical debt remains the leading cause of personal bankruptcy. That’s unacceptable. I believe healthcare is a human right—not a privilege reserved for the wealthy. In Congress, I’ll fight to protect Medicaid, expand Medicare, and ensure every American has access to quality, affordable care. It’s not just the right thing to do morally—it’s also smart economics. Preventative care saves lives and reduces costs for all taxpayers. A healthier America is a stronger, more prosperous America.
Fighting for Common Sense Gun Safety
As a father, nothing matters more to me than keeping our kids safe. That’s why I support common-sense gun safety laws that protect our families while respecting the rights of responsible gun owners. In Congress, I’ll fight to ban assault weapons, require universal background checks, and close dangerous loopholes—including the gun show and “boyfriend” loopholes—that make it too easy for firearms to fall into the wrong hands. We all deserve to feel safe in our schools, neighborhoods, and public spaces—and I’m committed to making that a reality.
Building a Stronger Arizona Through Infrastructure
From crumbling roads to outdated bridges, it’s time we invest in rebuilding and modernizing the infrastructure that keeps our economy moving. As your representative, I’ll fight for real investments that deliver results across both rural and urban parts of our district—fixing our roadways, expanding our manufacturing and shipping capacity, and creating good-paying jobs along the way. Smart infrastructure investment isn’t just about smoother roads—it’s about supporting local businesses, strengthening supply chains, and making sure Arizona is ready for the future.
Ensuring Equality For All
I believe that every person—no matter their gender, who they love, or how they identify—deserves equal rights, equal protection, and equal opportunity. That means standing up for women’s rights, protecting the LGBTQ+ community, and ensuring that diversity is recognized as a strength, not a liability. But right now, those values are under attack by Donald Trump and enablers like Juan Ciscomani, who continue to push hateful, divisive policies that roll back hard-won progress. In Congress, I’ll fight back—because no one should be treated as less than equal in the eyes of the law or their government.
100% Pro-Choice. No Apologies.
I am—and always will be—100% unapologetically pro-choice. The right to access abortion is not up for debate. These are deeply personal healthcare decisions that must be made between a person who becomes pregnant and their doctor—not politicians. The government has no place in our exam rooms or our private lives. In Congress, I’ll fight to restore and protect reproductive freedom nationwide, because the right to control your own body is fundamental, and I won't back down.
Securing Our Border
I believe we must secure the border at the border—with real solutions that actually work. I support funding to secure our borders, but that money must be spent wisely and focused on the real threats to our communities: not asylum seekers. That means investing in modern technology to stop the flow of dangerous drugs like fentanyl, hiring more customs officers to open more lanes for trade while increasing inspections, and focusing resources where most smuggling occurs: at legal ports of entry.
While I don’t oppose all border fencing, it must be built where it makes strategic sense—not where it creates ecological disasters or damages fragile desert ecosystems. Just as importantly, sovereign Tribal Nations must be fully consulted before any new fencing is planned or erected on or near their lands.
We also need more immigration judges and processing facilities for those coming to seek protection under our international human rights obligations, so we can manage asylum claims more efficiently and humanely—ensuring faster decisions on whether individuals will be granted asylum or returned to their countries of origin.
Right now, local communities across Arizona are being stretched too thin—bearing the burden of a broken system while the federal government fails to act. That’s unacceptable. We need smart, strategic investments that uphold our laws, protect our communities, and relieve pressure on local resources—all while respecting our values.
Fixing Our Broken Immigration System
Our immigration system is dysfunctional—and it has been for decades. It needs to be reformed with practical and streamlined legal pathways that will create a more fruitful economic outcome and less incentive to circumvent the legal process. There have been moments of real possibility—like when Senators John McCain and Ted Kennedy came together to advance comprehensive immigration reform and the “Gang of Eight” bill in 2013—only to be blocked by Republicans more interested in exploiting the issue politically than solving it. Just last year, Donald Trump killed the Bipartisan Border Security Act for the same reason: he admitted he wanted the issue to campaign on, not a solution.
We can't keep kicking the can down the road. Real reform begins with treating immigration as both an economic and humanitarian issue. Over 11 million undocumented immigrants are living in this country—working, paying taxes, raising families, attending our schools and churches, and contributing to our economy. Yet we force them to live in the shadows because our visa system hasn't kept pace with labor demand. It’s not just unfair—it’s bad policy.
We need a complete overhaul. That means aligning our workforce needs in all sectors with visa availability, providing pathways to citizenship for law-abiding immigrants, protecting families from unnecessary and cruel separation, and finally passing legislation to protect Dreamers and those brought here as children.
As an immigration attorney, I’ve seen firsthand the human cost of our broken system—and I know how to fix it. In Congress, I’ll bring both expertise and compassion to the fight for immigration reform that builds stronger, safer, and more prosperous communities for all of us.
Creating a Lasting Peace in the Middle East
As the Jewish grandchild of Holocaust survivors, I carry in my DNA the trauma of statelessness and the moral urgency of never again allowing hatred or dehumanization to flourish. As an immigration attorney, I’ve spent my career fighting for the dignity and safety of people displaced by violence and persecution. These experiences shape how I view the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: through the lenses of history, humanity, and hope.
I believe in Israel’s right to exist as a safe, democratic homeland for the Jewish people. I believe Palestinians deserve the same rights: safety, self-determination, and dignity. These principles are not in conflict; they are intertwined.
The Hamas-led attack on October 7, 2023 was atrocious. We should all empathize with Israel, the Jewish people, and all individuals directly impacted by that terrible day and the decades-long conflict in the region that has devastated Jewish and Palestinian families.
The response from Israel and PM Netanyahu has been difficult to watch. I have provided immigration-related support to Gazans who fled for their lives, and the stories of what they have survived are credible and appalling. Over the course of my career, I have borne witness to countless similar incidences of individuals fleeing persecution.
I’m deeply concerned with the blockade of humanitarian aid to innocent people. I worry that Israel is creating more enemies and potentially more violence with each escalation. Tens of thousands of innocents are dying. As a result, the Jewish population around the world is now less safe and ripe for more targeting.
I believe that antisemitism and Islamophobia are both deep and abiding problems in the world today. Jewish students should not have to fear hate speech or acts against them. If you speak in support of safety and self-determination for Palestinians, you should not be targeted by your own government. Our freedoms of speech and assembly to peacefully protest must be protected. We cannot allow dissent to be conflated with hate speech.
Let me be crystal clear: I do not believe that the Trump administration are good or honest stewards of the message of antisemitism.
It is because I support Israel that I support a two-state solution. I oppose extremism and support aid that promotes peace, protects civilians, and upholds democratic values.
U.S. policy should be rooted in security, democracy, and human rights for all people in the region — not blind allegiance to any government. At this moment, the world needs the U.S. to support an unwavering commitment to justice and peace. As your congressional representative, I will listen to all perspectives on this conflict and will work tirelessly to meet these objectives.
